Dec 4 (Reuters) - Ladbrokes-owner Entain (ENT. L) said on Monday it is targeting a core profit ofR$500 million in 2026 at its U.S. sports-betting service BetMGM, which it jointly owns with MGM Resorts (MGM. N).

MGM sought to buy Entain last year, but its bid was rejected. Now, the US casino giant known for venues like the Bellagio is making a move on the Ladbrokes and Coral owner's home turf with the launch of BetMGM here.
